Welcome to W.N. Art Studio!

Hi, I'm Emily, originally from South Korea. I came to the USA to pursue my MFA at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Before arriving in the USA, I attended Seoul Art High School, where I honed my art fundamentals and practiced and explored various art forms. While studying Industrial Design at Ewha Womans University, I also taught art to high school seniors at an art studio for about two years. After graduating MassArt, I dedicated over five years to working as a UX designer. In 2016, following the birth of my child, I returned to my passion for teaching art to children. I've had fun helping kids of all ages, from little ones to high schoolers, get better at drawing using both regular and digital ways.

In summer 2024, as I relocate from Newton, MA to Aliso Viejo, CA, I'll be providing private (or semi-private) lessons primarily in Southern Orange County. My teaching area will include Irvine, Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, and Mission Viejo.
